We're Located in beautiful Mena, Arkansas in the heart of the Ouachitas: 100 miles north of Texarkana, 75 miles west of Hot Springs, Arkansas, 90 miles south of Fort Smith, Arkansas and approximately 250 miles northeast of Dallas, Texas.
The climate in the Ouachita Mountains is pleasant. Winters are cool and often sunny, with occasional snowfalls. It is not uncommon to have a period of cold winter weather followed by several days of warm spring-like temperatures.
Summers in the Ouachitas can range from quite warm days and warm nights to periods of relatively cool days and nights.
Shady LakeSpring is always beautiful and the autumn days are perfect for hunting, fishing and camping.
